Steeping Time for Bagged Teas
My favorite go-to-tea is green tea, but you can steep other teas too.
For green tea, steep for 3-5 minutes.
For black tea, steep for 3-5 minutes.
For white tea, steep for 3 minutes.
For oolong tea, steep for 3 minutes. You can do small pot brewing, as demonstrated by Smith Tea.
For other teas not mentioned here, follow according to steep instructions and add an extra 1-2 minutes if you want more flavor and strength of tea. I steep it longer because I love the aroma of tea.

Loose Leaf Teas
You can steep loose leaf tea. They are my favorite because they taste better and are best for the environment, however they may be difficult to access. That’s why all my basic recipes use tea bags for ease, unless otherwise specified. Steep a little longer, then strain the tea leaves out of the drink before you prepare it.
