Brown sugar syrup, also known as dark brown sugar simple syrup, is a versatile sweetener that can be used for sweetening drinks and desserts.
Ingredients
Brown Sugar Syrup
½cupbrown sugar
½cupwhite sugar
½cupwater
Instructions
In a small pot on high heat, mix equal parts dark brown sugar, white sugar, and water, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and stir until it's slightly thickened, about 5-8 minutes.
Remove from heat, let cool.
Notes
Store in sterile, air-tight container in fridge for use.
