Citrus matcha juice is a refreshing drink that can be enjoyed as a refresher or even to break a fast. Citrus increases absorption of the tea benefits.
- 2 teaspoon high-quality matcha
- 3 ounces water room temperature
- 4 ounces lemon or other citrus juice ((2 medium lemons))
- 2 teaspoon granulated sugar (sweetener (or to taste))
- 6 large ice cubes
In a small bowl, add matcha and room temperature water. Whisk very briskly back and forth in a straight line in a M or W shape for about 20-30 seconds until all the clumps are gone.
Add citrus juice.
Add sweetener to taste. Stir to mix.
Add ice.
