- 1 cup honeydew melon chunks
- 1 cup brewed tea (black, green, white, or oolong)
- 1 cup milk or non-dairy milk
- ¼ cup simple syrup (made with natural cane sugar and hot water)
- A handful of ice cubes
- Cooked tapioca pearls (optional)
Brew your tea according to the instructions on the packaging. Steep loose leaf tea for 3-5 minutes and tea bags for 1-2 minutes. Let the tea cool down to room temperature before using it in the recipe.
In a blender or food processor, blend the honeydew chunks until smooth. You can strain the mixture through a sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.
In a separate bowl, mix the brewed tea, milk, and simple syrup until well combined. Add the honeydew mixture and stir well.
Pour the honeydew milk tea mixture into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. If you're using cooked tapioca pearls, add them to the bottom of the glass before pouring the tea mixture.
Serve the honeydew milk tea immediately and enjoy!
